Launched in 1948 L’air Du Temps is a classic from Nina Ricci, which still holds up as one of the best floral fragrances more than 70 years on. Created by master perfumer Francis Fabron, alongside Nina Ricci’s son Robert, it helped launch Nina Ricci as a major fragrance house. The top notes are Carnation, Aldehydes, Rose, Neroli, Brazilian Rosewood, Peach and Bergamot; the heart of the fragrance is a stunning bouquet of notes, again lead by Carnation which is joined by Cloves, Gardenia, Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Rose, Violet, Orris Root, Rosemary and Orchid. The base notes contain Spices, Iris, Oakmoss, Musk, Sandalwood, Benzoin, Amber, Vetiver and Cedar. The fragrance oozes class and is a truly stunning floral composition.
